About me

I build delivery technology
restaurants actually own.

I’m Yehor Herasymchuk, Founder & CEO of Dots Platform. For over a decade I’ve been building food delivery in Ukraine — first as a marketplace, now as a focused platform that helps restaurant owners run a profitable delivery channel of their own.

My story

A decade of building delivery — as a real business, not a venture bet.

Back in 2014, together with my co-founder Yaroslav Tsyhanenko, I started building Mister.am — the first food delivery service in Ukraine with its own couriers and call center. We launched in February 2015 in Chernihiv and grew it, city by city, into a marketplace that today works in 20 cities across Ukraine.

We built it as a franchise, and we built it as a real business — not a venture experiment. We only opened cities where we could genuinely be profitable, because the goal was simple: we wanted to earn money, and we wanted our partners to earn money too — not burn it fighting competitors on marketing.

By 2018 I was certain of something: marketplace commissions are too high, and every restaurant should control its own guest experience end to end. So we moved into a new business — a focused, professional platform for restaurant owners. Our very first SaaS client was Dmytro Borysov with Philadelphia; the second was usamvela in Odesa — I still remember meeting their founder Gevorg in Chernihiv and going through every detail together.

In 2022 we fully relaunched the product and tried to take it abroad — Ireland in 2022, the United States in 2023. We spent more than $200,000 trying to crack those markets and, honestly, we failed — but we came away with one client I’m proud of: Dollop Coffee, a 13-location coffee chain in Chicago.

Since 2025, as CEO, I’ve gone back to the one thing that always works: talking to the market. I speak with every lead myself — to understand what they do, where we’re genuinely the best, and why they choose us over the alternatives. Listening to the market is the whole game.

What I believe

The principles that shape everything I build.

01

Build a real business, not a venture bet

We grow where we can be profitable. We want to earn — and we want our partners to earn — not burn money on marketing wars.

02

Restaurants should own their customers and data

If you can’t see who orders from you, you can’t build loyalty or repeat business. Ownership of the relationship is non-negotiable.

03

Technology should increase profit, not cost

Software that doesn’t pay for itself is overhead. Every feature has to earn its place on the bottom line.

04

Delivery is a system, not just an app

Apps, website, CRM, logistics, loyalty and payments only work when they’re one connected ecosystem — not ten disconnected tools.

05

Talk to the market, always

I speak with every lead myself. Understanding why a restaurant chooses us — or doesn’t — is the most valuable thing I do.

06

Trust is earned slowly, then it compounds

Our average sales cycle is about three months. We don’t rush it. We build the relationship the next decade rests on.

The team

The team is the real product.

09:00–20:00 Kyiv time Real people, not AI Leading, not managing

The team is the heart of all this. My job is to lead and help them and to clear the way so they can do their best work for you.

Ask any of our partners what they value most, and you’ll hear the same answer: the support. We don’t try to teach you — we try to help.

Every day, from 09:00 to 20:00 Kyiv time, real people answer real questions — about anything. Not a bot, not an AI script. Humans. Because we work with humans.
